Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Ryan attended DeSales High School where he was a part of their two-time winning state championship football team. Ryan continued his education and athletic career at Centre College, where he studied Economics and Finance. He also had the opportunity to intern at an insurance company and wealth management firm. During his time at Centre, Ryan also had the opportunity to study abroad in Ghana, Africa, teaching in primary school. 

Before joining LFG, Ryan worked in consumer lending for a large agricultural financial institution. Most recently, he held a position in institutional asset management, where he helped grow and manage a large fixed income portfolio. Following in his father’s footsteps, Ryan is currently working towards obtaining the CFA charter. 

Ryan resides in Mount Washington, KY where he and his wife Melissa purchased their first home together. They have a mini goldendoodle named Josie and a cat named Louie. In his free time, Ryan enjoys cooking, mountain biking, traveling, and spending time with family. On Sunday’s during the fall, you can find Ryan cheering on the Baltimore Ravens, his favorite sports team!
